(584 items)
I am lucky to have this set in two colours: Groenland and Aedelgroen (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/40912-grnland-per-ltken-holmegaard-1960?in=user).
I am not the kind of collector who has te same items in different colours (don't haveroom enioughfor all of it soI'd rather havea display of models and colours than repeat pieces) butatsome pointI love having this.
Sometimes I haveseen this set included in the WINSTON range (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/41641-winston-set-per-ltken-holmegaard-19?in=user) but even if itcomes from more orless thesame time, I don't thik it is. Tis Aedelgroen colour was used in very few designs.
I know we don't take stickers off anything, but are you ever tempted?
Love the color!
hahaha, stickers! Well... If I buy a new glass item I'm actually going to use, I will remove the stickers right away, but never on old glass!!! I think I did sometime at the beginning of collecting glass but that's all... never again!
Once my husband took some off, I almost killed him. He won't ever do that again! He just doesn't get that concept and to be honest, especially if the sticker is on the side, I'm tempted:))
hahaha... I'm sure he was just trying to please you :P I guess he's learnt thelesson now.
I’m new to collecting Scandinavian glass. I really like the shape of it but I don’t know it is jug for water or something else. Can anybody tell me if this is a water jug?
Do you know of this site : http://www.hardernet.dk/
Both of these appear in an illustration of the Winston range by Per Lütken at Hardernet.
