      Underwood made the Model 3, 5, and on up in the millions. These machines aren't rare at all. Underwood appeared to have made more big-carriage machines than anyone, probably because of their popular book-typing machines. These machines are uncomfortable to type on, because shifting with the little finger requires it to lift that heavy carriage. Not popular to sell-who needs or has room for such a beast? Interesting to look at, but that's all.

      This is fasciating. It looks like half typewriter and 1/2 anvil!! Very cool! :)
