    Here is a traditional WW1 era set of mantle vases. Each stands about 12" tall.

    The vases are made from US (Remintion) 75mm shells and have oak leaves and the initials "CP".

    I have no idea who "CP" was other than most likely an American doughboy, as this was found in the US and doesn't show the typical European polishing.
