Family piece of furniture. Just wondering what it is and value?
I have other pieces that we were given from the elders in the family and I will post another one I am curious about. Thanks in advance!

This is a Davenport Desk (Captain's Desk). Turn of the Century in the Eastlake Style.
Appears to be in good condition.
Hard to say value these days but I would say 500.00+.
      Hope this helps, regards, Larry

I would call it Davenport parlor desk, 1870's, walnut.
