This is a large framed photo (18"x24") of Maroon Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park that I got at the Salvation Army. It is signed "Peter J. Braal" in the bottom right-hand corner, possibly the same Mr. Braal that worked for Eastman Kodak's Photographic Illustration Division. Here's a brief article on a photo contest he judged in 1966: http://newspaperarchive.com/the-salt-lake-tribune/1966-09-11/page-108

I love the yellow blooms reflected in the water, and the printing style is really gorgeous (looks to me to be 60s-70s era almost like a slide print, with rough, rounded edges). Let me know if you recognize Peter J. Braal or the printing method!

This is so crazy, but Peter J Braal was my dad's dad. I never met my grandfather but my dad also worked for Kodak in his early years.

Wow Sierrafallon that's very cool! I think I still have this print somewhere - it got damaged when the frame broke. If you're interested, I could probably mail it to you—shoot me an email at hoatmanstanford@gmail.com. :)
