    I need help with this. Its marked Gurschner under the lamp base. I'm trying to find out if this is an original or a repo? Also the value either way.

      I'm no expert on the subject, it looks like the marble base is an add-on - I'd imagine that you should be able to remove the base easily (probably a single nut or screw) which should reveal the signature. It is impossible to tell from photographs, I would suggest bringing it to someone in the trade for authentication. Pretty lamp either way!

      Repo. This is one of about four different modern art nouveau lamps that have been hitting the market over the past decade, all of which have erroneous Gurschner signatures or attributions. None of the examples I have seen are listed in Gurschner's official catalog raisonne'. Sorry.
