I was told it was a 'childs desk' but it's quite small, even for a child. Is it possibly a salesman's sample? It has no real markings on it except for 'Denmark'. Any info would be appreciated - thanks!

Definitely not a 'big box' store item - not a single screw on the desk, all dovetailed and some finishing nails.

Looks like a Sauder desk that Wal-Mart sold a few years back. They came in a box and all you needed to put them together was a screw driver and good luck. They were a general use desk but commonly used for a computer printer. I believe Staples or Office Depot had a similar desk as part of an office furniture display.

Well that looks like a small commode to me. You could put it in your hallway, or maybe it was made to put your telephone on.
It really looks vintage scandinavian to me but I'm no expert.
