This was slowing rotting away under the stairs in our church basement with the mops and the sump pump. It had been painted with an industrial brown paint, and had various paint cans and oil cans on it. No one knew where it came from, and it was not a part of the church itself. I removed about four layers of paint and left on the last layer for the bottom, just because it was way too hard to get it all off. It is open at the back and has one shelf. Turned out to be nicer than I had imagined.

You need a nice communion set to go with it, could double as shot glasses.

That looks like a heavy piece, glad you left it with it's age blemishes.
