Cool little clock. I picked one up at a flea market almost 20 years ago and it started a collection of Telechron red dot clocks. Yours appears to be in excellent condition.

I just found one for $50 in good condition but the light doesn't work, should I buy it ?

The motor rotors dry out and can be opened by heating the soldered joint after placing it in a vise and popping it apart with a channel locks plier. Rebuilt 1rpm motors can be expensive if you don’t surrender the old motor to the repairman. Hopefully, the gears are all metal and it can be re-lubricated with electrical grease and re-assembled. I have a few; the magnetic coil is another story not as easily solved.
