there are NO BARGAINS in the gas pump sign catagory on e-bay, but, these are in P.G.C. theres a little "crazing" on the Gulf sign & it looks like maybe someone has put some sort of clear plastic & it got hot & melted on the top left corner (across the A, T, &L of the Atlantic sign). Im pretty sure it should come of.There was a premium version of the Spur pymp plate sign i was bidding on, but my wife hollered at me in the closing minutes & i lost it over 2.00$!!!! But the pride of this pack is the two sided D-X sign, there where two alike (this one was in better condition). This puppy wasnt going anywhere but in my collection!Id like to find an original wall bracket to hang this from, but will modify whatever i can find. thanks for your interest. Mikie

can anyone tell me something about the 10" Red Crown pump sign on e-bay? the item # is 220985908312. i cant seem to find any info. on this particular sign. I do know the term red crown was a "generac" label used by many oil co.s . can anyone help on this?
What do you think about the pump signs on ebay now, (deep rock, 76 outboard, and the U fill em)? They almost look to good to be true, I was thinking about trying to get one if they don't get silly in price.
ya know chevy59, ive bought several signs from colacorner, seems like they allways go to high. But condition is the thing, i also bid on the union diesol sign they got. it seems to be the runt of the litter, so far im high bid at 96.00$. they must be liquidating some extreme collectors inv., the condition of those signs almost scares u if you think about it to long!reading the disc. it seems they dont know much about the signs there selling. i really wnted that Texaco sign but 270.00 with more than a day left??? nooooooooo way.
I hear ya, everybody wants a bargain these days including myself, but if you are on the other end selling, I suppose you want the most out of it you can.

Try Nekbe signs of the times on ebay, sometimes you can get a deal. I bought a 1923 miller tire sign from him,double sided and just one very small scratch. It is small only 23 inches long and 8 inches high but I only paid $23.00 for it. Also lilshannon has some nice signs and coin-0p machines you can look at. Just bought a Kool sign from 1950 there with Chilly Willy on it for $35.00, it is a flange sign. Happy hunting guys.
