I have these two lamps that were my grandma's. I am trying to find out more about them and what they may be valued at. If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Here is a description of what I do know:
A woman leaning against a tree
    They are approximately 14" tall
They are heavy kind of like brass
The only markings I can find is "1925" on the base and the letter "c" with a circle around it. There is also "Austria" written by the light socket.
The lamp is in original great condition
    The shades are shells

I'm trying to find out if they could be Art Nouveau or something else.
    Thank you

So all you experts out there, would you consider these Art Nouveau or not?

Also, if I wanted to sell these, any ideas what I should value them at?

      Thanks

Hi, nice lamp pair. It's good that you have a pair. I would say that they are "Art Nouveau in style," but certainly NOT from the definable period of time when Art Nouveau was in vogue. By 1925, even Art Deco was beginning to wane. Still, they are nice designer pieces and having a pair should help in your ability to sell them.

We're not allowed to discuss values here at CW, but I would encourage you to seek out what the market has dictated from before. Auction results are available on other sites that may allow you to get a rough approximation of value.
