This jug was designed by Kjell Blomberg around 1960 (problaby before that year) for Gullaskruf. There is no doubt it was inspired by Timo Sarpaneva's Lintupullo ("bird bottle"). I have see at least another jug in the same style and I recall reading somewhere that Arthur Percy designed another one for Gullaskruf...
The good and quite unique thing about this design is that it was made in three or four sizes, the bigger of them standing over 32 cm. tall... it obviously was not intended to be used as a jug :) By the way, this one stands 18 cm tall.
I've also uploaded a picture showing this jug and the original Sarpaneva's Lintupullo.
Ive recently seen a couple of the Gullaskruf pieces sold by bad dealers on ebay with a poorly scratched T.S mark on base they can fool some people into thinking it is a genuine timo Sarpenava vase. The two Timo ones that I have oned where fully signed.
Sent you an email lovely.
@ozmarty - it's sadly true there are certain sellers that do this kind of stuff... usually see Berlin bottles from the habitat stors (12 euros max.) sold as Nanny Still's koristepullo... I guess there's a way you can report thisat ebay, isn't it?
@Amber - yes, i just got it :) You're getingmy answer soon! :)

After comparing several Google Images of the two bottles, Kjell Blomberg's "Blomkula" appears to be pear-shaped with an upward pointing spout. Timo Sarpanva's "Lintu pullo" seems to be more egg-shaped with a downward or level spout. Certainly, Google Images may not be reliable references.
