Your help is appreciated.
This is Anchor Hocking's Manhattan pattern, produced 1938-1943.
Thanks very much Paul!
Now my memory comes back,
as I know that you are right.

Thanks Bellin too!

I still think that it was because of Marilyn Monroe and another lady great actress?
That is wht it's called Manhattan?
AH did not mark very much glass in this time frame. They didn't mark their tablewares (Manhattan, Waterford, Sandwich, etc.) You'll find some kitchenware and Royal Ruby vases marked. AH was born in the late 1930s when Anchor glass Co merged with Hocking Glass Co.
Thanks very much Paul!
That is good news you present.
I appreciate that!
This was not common this bowl?
