    Hello all,

Just trying to get some information on this lighter I picked up.

I believe it is platinum due to the 900 stamp on the body and the removeable head. Next to the 900 stamp on the body there is another stamp that has a Z, then a small tree and a W. On the bottom there are the letters WIFEU.

Can anyone please tell me the production year, manufacturer, where it was made and its value?

    Thank you all very much!!!!!

your wifeu lighter is austrian made by TCW. TCW invented the flint in 1903 and were important makers of automatic lighters. this model dates circa mid 1930's. the 900 mark is the silver content of the sleeve. the same mechanism was also used by asprey of london on their 1950's thru 1960's model. value is from $50-100 depending on condition.
