If this is 7-1/2" to 8" wide, I find it in a wholesaler's catalog and possibly a retailer's, 1901 and 1903. The 1901 is a trade price list and shows this piece as an olive dish. There is Bergen and Meriden glass pictured in this catalog but pattern names of manufacturers are not given.

I can't find a way to post a picture in a comment on this web site. How do others do it?

I don't know how they do it, but I found alot on the net...why don't you email it to me and I can post it...I think we can only post pictures on our own items. are we allowed to share emails?

I made an album on my Facebook page of the catalog page. Remember, this does not say who made the glass - you are just seeing it in a catalog from 1901 and as there are identifiable JD Bergen and Meriden patterns included, it's possible your piece was made by one of those companies.

Scandanavian - I tried Tinypics (Photobucket) but there was no way to make an individual album or photo public or private apparently. Either all of my photos are public or all are private. With Facebook I could make just the one album public.

No, that didn't work, sorry for the clutter. I'll just use the Facebook method.

You two are so smart!! Thank you enlightening me!! I will try it also, Thank you !! I am not sure what I am allowed to say but you can see a seller on another site that has a pic on vendio. Is there an ok way to show you that pic and name , Bergen Prism??

I can find a few pieces of Bergen's "Prism" in my books, maybe even your piece if I look enough. I'd feel pretty confident this is Bergen's "Prism."

Anita - Sure I'll look at what you have but the only thing I can possibly help with is cut glass.

Funny, it's telling me I have to make a longer comment :)

I'd be happy to look at your glass. The only glass I know anything about is cut glass, however.
