I got this item from Peter Tedesco, he told me what it's for. It's 6 inches long. Lets see if you can figure it out. I will tell later. Also I have other tools, but there is no tool catagory.

You are milking the cow, and she hits the bucket with her tail. You clamp the large upper round part to your leg, and wedge her tail into the lower part. State of the art.

That was going to be my second guess ! Now then, who is this Peter Tedesco ? You toss the name around like little Mattie tossed around Lawyer J Noble Daggett in the original True Grit. Must had quite an impact to elicit so many memories.

I put up his picture in his car. Peter was my good friend, who I met 30-40 years ago. He lived across the street from my shop. We had many conversations over the years. He had a photographic memeory and would tell me stories of the old days. One day I found an old dart gun in his yard. I said " I found an old dart gun" he said " I got some cap guns to". In his basement were boxes full of the stock left over from his store, "Belmont Varity" in Belmont CA. from 1945-1955. Imagine " Lil Abner and his dogpatch band" mint in the box. I sold the valuable stuff for him, and we split the money 50-50. I called him "TED". Peter lived alone and did his own shopping. He would walk to town, which was approximately 1.5 mi., buy whats on sale. Just enough to fill 2 plastic bags, and walk back home. He washed his own clothes, and took care of his own business untill he had a stroke. He died within 2 weeks. He died 2 weeks before his 100th birthday in the year 2000. I miss him.

from a song..."he was 90 years old in '63, I loved him and he loved me. Lord, I cried the day he died, cause I thought that he walked on water..."

"Lord, when all my work is done, bless my life and grant me one old friend, just one old friend."
