    Very old lock...Shoe Buckle...unidentified 3 inch iron with cutout for handle? Not too sure, however all seem to be Colonial, as digging colonial foundation...Very disappointing, as spent around 4 hrs digging...Do see iron pontil bottle pieces, and early pottery...Newest itenm found was a 1819 large cent. i will keep you posted.

      Wow! As a Californian, I find it unfathomable to dig up Colonial-era items. I'm lucky to find stuff from the '50s here! Maybe your dig wasn't too successful, but interesting little treasures anyway!

      Thanks...I have gotten some things, if you look at the rest of my posts from the past...Lots of work digging! wishing I was in california!
