This bird band, is riddled with birdshot...Reported number to Fish and Wildlife...Waiting for a response...Most likely vintage 50-60's, found deep in the woods of Maine...Waiting to see if it was a hunted species...If not we have a murder on our hands! These bands although may seem insignificant, hold vital info on the bird, and this one tells a particular story, because it has never been reported, and maybe the hunter, if a hunted species, never found his target. It may be made of monel. Last two numbers of 7 digits are 58, which may indicate the year, found 4 inches down.
