I am not sure this one is one of Timo Sarpaneva designs for Iittala. I got it from a British website some years ago and they claimed it was, but never seen another one to confirm.
probably Timo Sarpaneva, probably Ingrid Glas... who knows! | ||

well, most of them would be, but not all... for intance, my amber/yellow Sarpaneva jug isn't (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/40273-bottles-and-jug-from-the-i-lasi-series?in=user)
So far this one will still be a Timo Sarpaneva piece until I find a prove of it not being such. Thanks Scandi, I hope I can click the "Mark as Solved!" button soon :)
Dear austrohungaro, reminds me this one which I am watching on ebay:

It is by Ingridglas one of these long defunct German glass factories. But I have the impression that it is not completely identical. yours seems more beautiful and slghtly different in proportion. But I am learning more and more to which degree the Scandinavian (and sometims Italian) inventions were copied!
Oh yes, everybody copied everybody else! :) Well, I've uploaded another picture thatwill give you a better ideaof the piece... i should have uploaded from the beginning.
But Cbarlt, this could be a very interesting departing point to find about this bottle. The lower part of the vase just looks like the one in my bottle... then proportions change completely at the tops but... it could be a ingrid bottle :)
I didn't understand that it was a bottle. It's beautiful! Unfortunately I don't know much about Ingrid. They made many bubble vases and candle holders, and I think they were really inspired (to be polite) by Scandinavian design.
Yes, they were pretty inspired by it. There's these vases that are often offered or sold as Nanny Still's Candida vases and they're actually from Ingrid :)
Well, it wasn't veryclear in the first picture it was a bottle. My fault! :)
Love the dialogue too!
