    I love this one. jockey still has some sort of string around His neck and the horse also. maybe reins? i haven't see a cast iron toy with the jockey so close to the horse . wonder what he was pulling and how old?

      It should be 5 3/4 inches long.

      I don't remember the time period they were made but I may have a link for it on my other computer. I seem to think they were made in Canada but not positive. It is a fairly common piece but certainly collectible. Right now cast is pretty much better to hold on to unless you have a really rare piece.

      Thank you soo much! would love to get the link and thanks for the information ! So you think it's better to hang on to it for now ? seems like the things i think will be valuable are common but it's worth the thrill of the hunt.
      have you seen my 3in1 oil? i thought it would be a great find. all i come across are green bottles in the free sample of the oil and i have the big ad that was wrapped around the bottle and the container.
