Here are some vintage pocket knives I picked up at a garage sale yesterday. This ladies father had passed away and they had found all these pocket knives at a cabin in a drawer, she said she hadn't been there in years. I assume that most of these pocket knives are from 50's and 60's.
Thanks for the info AR8Jason, the one under the DE knife is says, 1xL George
Wostenholm, Sheffield, England.
Other names from left to right in the first pic, Case XX, Sheffield England, Kabar 1001, Kabar 1081, De Shapleigh, Kane Kultsy Solingen Germany, Imperial Providence RI, and the last one is, Schrade Walden NY.
Two fists full of pocket knives, nice to find so many nice ones at one time.
I still have my first pocket knife from cub scouts. Man I sharpened that blade good, It would make a knife collector cringe to see it now.
Without seeing the tang stamps on these knives, I'm gonna make a somewhat educated guess that the knives in your third pic are the most valuable. CaseXX Rough Black 35 is worth around 100 bucks. The Shapleigh Diamond Edge is probably worth around 100 bucks as well. The rest around 40 to 50 bucks depending on alot of things. If the blades are rust free and have any snap to them.
Nice haul Chevy!
Great Grab Chevy!!!
Thanks tommy1002, thanks to this site, I'm a lot more aware when out picking.
