I was station in Germany at Ayers Kaserne from 1961 to 1964. during my two year tour we had the great pleasure of having President John F Kennedy visit the 3rd Armored Division. The last photo is Pres. Kennedy riding with Major General John R Pugh Commanding General of the 3rd Armored Division. The year book has 290 pages with photo's and covers all the battalions, brigades, regiments assigned to the 3rd Armored.

Thank you packrat-place
Very nice. Personally, I thought the winters there were awfull, fog, rain, sleet, snow, slush, mud, and just cold enough to be miserable and not cold enough to freeze the mess.
packet-place, I have to agree with you, some of the worst winter training I went through was at Hohenfel, Grafenwoehr, and wildflecken. I was so happy to get back to sunny California.
I trained in all those places also. I have a whole scrapbook filled with photos of that time. I carried a camera everywhere I went while I was there. I have debated posting some, but have not decided yet.
packrat-place, I also have photo's, but I would like to see yours. Tom

My dad was with the 3rd when President Kennedy visited, he was the assigned driver for JFK's sister. I would love to get a look at that book! What do I have to do?
Check Ebay under 3rd Armored Division, I have seen this book several times in there auctions
