Recently aquired these two mugs from a woman who stated that she had them for over fifty years. Her husband got them from "Auggie" (Busch) when they lived in Illinois. Her husband told her that they were promotional items. They are made of very light metal, I believe is aluminum. They are stamped "Made In Italy " on the bottom. Insignia is also metal and handle is attached with rivits. I looked at over 4,500 mugs on the internet and could NOT find one like it. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated. I am not a dealer. I'm not even a collector. But, when I saw these mugs, I had to have them. Thanks, Gary in Palm Harbor, Florida.
These are sweet!! Just a thought, pewter used to be the material of choice for beer mugs and steins.
thanks Tommy1002. Hope someone can supply more info on these.
Has anyone ever seen mugs like these or know where or how I can find any info on them? Really curious. Thanks again for all the kind comments.

thanks tommy, I'll give it a try.
tommy1002, that info/site you gave is great. They quickly responded to my initial email requesting a pic so they can give it to their "Historian" to research. Thanks again. Gary
Great, I hope they come through for ya. I'm curious about them as well.
I'll let you know the results.
Sent pics of these mugs to "Budweiser Historian" couple of weeks ago for any information. Nothing back yet, but maybe that's a good thing. Pop-Pop
