This was a rare decoration for Loetz. This line of iridescent cameo glass vase is believed to have been made between 1902-05 in approx. 10 different variations. A gold/silver/blue Silberiris overlays an orange/red ground. The surface is painted in stencil, then exposed to acids which leaves this design in relief. Steuben would copy this technique about 28 years later. The decoration is documented by Cantz on page 327 and the 1902 production form 2/599 is documented by Ricke.
