Antique Morris Chair Mission Style Rescue

One dark late fall night I was dropping my sons off at a friends house. In a pile of stuff on the curb I saw the base of this chair all weathered. All the spindles were intact so I took it thinking I could use them on some other project. Then I saw another piece that looked like a wood rack for drying clothes. I threw that into the van too. Having never heard of a Morris chair or ever seeing one I did not know that this is what I had picked up. I soon realized the pieces fit, so I re-glued the veneer, sanded and stained this chair for a new life in our home. Fits in well with my trunks....
