    A little toy that has been in my collection box for years. It's made of plastic and probably from the early 60's, although the U.S.S. Nautilus was more famous in the 50's.

      The Nautilus still exsists, it's a Museum up in Groton, CT. If you ever get a chance, check it out, it still looks like it could go back to sea if it had too!

      I remember getting this type thing in boxes of cereal back then. They actually floated and as a kid they were great fun.

      I knew the real Nautilus was made into a museum as I believe there was a special on the History Channel or Military Channel. I would like to go if I can find the time, beachbomb.
      Yes fhrjr2, I remember those cereal prizes myself. Seems to me that we would have to put baking soda inside them to get them to submerge and propel.
