GREAT trench art canteen. Was your father the artist or did a buddy engrave the artwork?

Dad picked up this and a few other souvenirs ( I'll post the others as I find them ) on Tarawa, Okinawa, Saipan, Pelileu and a few other hole-in-the-wall islands he "visited" He did the art work on this himself although I don't recall with what. ( Maybe his Ka-Bar? ) I inherited his disease ( both to have enlisted in the Corps and to collect all things Marines ) lol. More to Come!
