Here's my fairly common, 1950's possibly late 40's coca cola picnic cooler made by the action mfg co. Bought this at a antique market for I think $65 or $85. I can't remember. I've always wanted the cooler with the art deco style "DRINK". That's part of the reason I think it's from the late fortys. Like 1948-49. It's in rough shape, I think it's missing the tray, and the really cool part is you can see some circles on the bottom were bottles were! Dying to here what everybody else thinks.

Hey Ray, if your out there, can ya answer this for me? At an antique mall, they were selling a 1929 glaslock full size cooler, in pretty decent shape, maybe a good/fine condition, for $800, is it a good deal?

I would if I could, if you want it, it's at the williamston antique market in williamston, michigan. It would probably be a long journey though. It is all original and un restored. missing cap catcher though I think, and not an oringinal starr bottle opener. The sign is pretty good condition and is just gorgeous!

FYI these coolers are really common in southern ontario. i see them in this condition for 10-20$. i think its because they were made in toronto or atleast the ones i always see. check mine out when you get a chance got it a second hand store lol.

Well, this one isn't made in canda. It's an action cooler, the american version of these coolers. I probably paid retail for it, but I really wanted a cooler for my collection. Usually, it's a good thing to buy less then retail, so you can resell it and get more stuff. But I'm still a begineer, so I don't really care.

I have one just like this sitting on the front porch. I think I will take better care of it!
