I also found myself two trays and got myself my very first service pin. The trays never sure if i got a good deal on seems like i always over pay on them, but picked the 1939 tray for 75$ and the other tray for 25$. 1939 tray seems to be in very good condition small issue in buttom left corner besides that very nice tray, 1950's tray average condition but 25$ i think i did fine.... the service pin i was hoping to get more info on was wondering when they started making this pin and when they stopped? I was told its a five year service pin and made from 10k gold, ended up paying 20$ for it curious if it was a good, or bad deal?
Thanks Manikin
Hey Trevor, looks like we both had a good day. The trays look good for what you paid for them. I'd say $20. for the pin is good. The wave underneath the logo usually means it's from the 70's. I think it's a one year pin as I seem to recall seeing them with as many as 4 stars on the bottom. Not positive so let me do a little research and get back to you.
Hey Bill thanks for stopping by, i was told that each star equals 5 years ( a four star pin i was told was 20 years service)
Thanks Peter, officialfuel, Trey, and Bernie!
Th Coca Cola tray with the girl in whites swim suit is my Grandmother. She lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL She won a photo contest and was selected to model for a Coca Cola advertisement. We have been looking for one of these for many years. I hope to be as lucky as you one day in our search...we found the poster about 3 years ago and paid $12.00 for it.
