Wooooooow! I didn't know you had this many WH items!!! I love your 3027!
I'll have to take a pic of all my WH stuff! :)
..and I'm always looking for more.
You should sell me all your WH stuff!!! ;-)
There are still 4 items on the way:
- 2x krug 3001 (GRT & GPH)
- vase 1043 (MO, this vase is not even displayed in the book)
- dose 2513 (GRT or C, not sure, I couldn't tell from the picture)
I like also very much the Engler designs which are softer and curvier than Klaus Breit's more monumental style. But both designers are great. And until today you have to admire the courage of the Wiesenthakhütte to bring out these designs in those rather narrow minded and petitbourgeois Fifties in Germany. You are lucky, GlasswareGuy. I think the early jugs are difficult to get.
3001???? Wooow, I want one in red!!! I love its shape so simple! We should have a private talk, hahaha ;)
@cobaltcobold:
I really like Engler's designs better than Breit's to be honest.
Too bad all the early stuff is not easier to find.
@austrohungaro:
I double checked and I think I was wrong.
It's not the 3001 but the 3009 in Granat and Graphit
Too bad not every design is displayed in the book like 3007 and 3010
Maybe it's on the CDROM but I haven't checked it out yet.
3009 in Granat????? I want one just like that!!!!!
I just received them and in fact it is the 3001!!!!
I really like the red one, the colour really compliments the shape.
Reminds me of a smaller version of the red 125th anniversary by Harri Koskinen.
Also nice that it's from Eisele, and not Engler or Breit ;-)
3001 or 3009, I don't care! I also want it! Haha, I am the birthday boy today and i am entitled to be as whimsical as I want LOL
By all means, be as whimsical today as you wish my fellow glass lover ;-)
Happy birthday!
Happy Bierhtday eith a little delay! Hope you got some beautiful glass!
Thanks GG and CC (=cobaltcobold) :) I love the picture with the three new items (so... are you sure the red one isn't a present for me? LOL)
Hi GlasswareGuy, I have a set of Weisenthalhutte aperitif (?) glasses. Do you think you could identify the designer, number and year for me? I could post in show and tell. Thanks for your consideration!!
