Are you sure it was malt syrup?

This is actually a pancake syrup bottle. Yes it was made by anheuser-busch.

GRANT'S FARM" table syrup which was first used in 1967.

MOUNTAIN LODGE" pancake and waffle syrup first used 1963

BUD" Table syrup used since 1934.

"BUDWEISER" table and malt syrup used since 1948

All were products of the Beer company Anheuser-Busch Incorporated of St. Louis, MO

Just depends on the markings but I can tell you it is NOT a terribly common item regardless of which one you have.

If you can't find it when you search leave out the word MALT. This was for table syrup. There are plenty of pictures and information out there.

The obvious way to research this bottle would be to contact anheuser-busch and request their assistance. Send a picture in your email and explain to them that you are trying to research it. Usually a company will either give you an answer or direct you to the proper place to get information.

Hey rascal1966, I am just north of Houston in Atascocita. I also stumbled upon a rather large bottle dump in recent weeks. I found two BUD syrup bottles, one with handle and one without, along with hundreds of other bottles that seem to be all from around the same time period (early to mid 60's)

I was researching an 3" Anheuser Busch Syrup lid for a jar which I found recently when I ran across this post. Not much on this item to be found.

Have looked for years for any info on this bottle, have gone to the Blackburn company in Jefferson City, TX, and talked to Anheuser and they knew nothing about it. Did find some one who said they thought that the bottle was from prohibition time when Anheuser kept in business by making glass bottle for other companies. Has any one found out any thing else?
