A standard flat top trunk that has been stripped of its canvas. I put on a natural stain finish and coated it with a satin polyurethane finish. Hope this helps Stef...

I noticed that you didn't replace the leather side handles. Do you usually do this?
Nah -- I never replace the handles -- unless it is a really valuable trunk, but all my trunks are for myself and I don't really care if they have handles or not -- I am in no way a perfectionist. You can order handles though if you want from a few suppliers.
One of mine is intact the other is broken. I just put it so the intact one shows, LOL! Works for me!
