Condition/Details: Bound in green cloth with bright gilt embossing, this antique volume is a scarce description of Native Americans' use of "charm stones, gorgets, tubes, bird stones and problematical forms," by Warren Moorehead, known in his time as the "Dean of American archaeology." This volume has many black and white photographs and plates, as well as a fold-out of three maps and a fold-out with illustrations of stones.
