This globe I bought in my own country together with an other globe.
both globes have striking Art Deco shapes on its own, so what a surprise to find out both are also vaseline or uranium globes.
In my country we call this Annagroen (Anna Green), still don't know why..?
This globe has some more uranium in it I think, it shines brighter than the other one.
What a super shade....
I have to think hard to find a suiting base for it...

Mark112, you have the most amazing collection of globes. I just bought my first Annagroen globe today and my subsequent CW search led me to you. My find was not a uranium green item I've ever come across in the thrift stores ever before, and was being sold as a vase. Can I assume these globes are generally all ceiling mount with the lip as such? Is it 3 thumb screws that holds them in place? Or where some of them desk lamp style with the same type of flange at the opening? Cast iron, tin, plaster. I guess it's important to find a period correct base. Thank you Marc112 for some great posts that I will look through and maybe i'll find my answers there.
