This card was mailed to me in September of 1970 (it arrived with the horizontal crease down the middle, which was typical of mailers of that era). Norman Orr did the art.
On the left is a show (BG-248) with Santana, Dr. John, and Luther Allison. On the right is a show (BG-249) with Quicksilver Messenger Service. The portrait of lead guitarist John Cipollina in the center is very nice, as is the illo of David Freiberg to his right, our left. Below Cipollina is the head, and hair, of Buddy Miles, who was also on the bill.
The back of the card had my home address (not pictured), plus a calendar of shows in the month of September. Led Zeppelin at the Oakland "Collesium" (misspelled in three ways) is highlighted, but when this card was printed they did not know who would be joining Buddy Miles for the 9/24-9/27 shows (Chuck Berry would top that bill; David Singer would do the poster).
