This American Plains Indian Rattle once belonged to a Lessie Adams of Anadarko, Oklahoma. It was made at the turn of the century and is in outstanding condition. I was stored along with several other Indian items in a trunk by Lessie Adams until her passing in 1974 at 90 years of age. It is now an important part of my Indian collection. I obtained it from Lessie's daughter in-law some 30 years ago. Hardbrake
Wow! What a piece. That's amazing! I think that would have been used in ceremony maybe by a Shaman. If you have a moment would you please have a look at my items - I have a Hipflask that I am trying to identify as to whether it is Native American or Mongolian? I am not having much luck finding out anything about it.
