This is 125 years old, wow, will today's stoves last that long?

It has 8 burners, probably ran on natural gas. Hasn't been used for several decades, still in good condition. I'm guessing, mostly a bread oven?

It's still in its original location in Haverstraw New York.

I think its a woodburner, the ash cleanout is in the lower center. We had a plane wood stove in our kitchen in the early seventies. My wife Linda would make homemade bread with it. She would work all day making the bread, and our sons and I would eat it all in a few minutes. Needless to say, romance fades,we got a new stove.

LOL. So it was romance that killed these beasts? TOO funny.

We were in love with the illusion of the good old days.

Its a coal burning stove. I have the exact same stove. Yours is missing the shelf that goes across the back. I use mine all the time. The dodad just above the ash door looks as if someone tried to make it a gas stove
