Yes, those are genuine Gibson Mini humbuckers from the early 70's. I've had a few of them along with vintage humbuckers. You can tell from the patent sticker and wiring.

I think they predate 70's ? heres a person maybe you should ask,,,,try TINICUM GUITAR BARN google it there's a number for the shop ask Carl if he knows, they may be verry old n rare, good to know on what guitar they were used. he deals with old electronics like this on a daily basis, and has built a guitar or two .

They use that same braided wire up to today. The mini's were originally made by Epiphone until Gibson bought Epi. out in the 50's, Both Gibson and Epi. used them from the 60's up until today. The ones in the picture are black (I believe the covers are plastic, from what I can remember) and not gold or nickle. If they are gold or nickle thary can be the older ones. They used the black ones in SG 2's and specials from the early 70's (maybe even late 60's ?). See: http://cdn1.gbase.com/usercontent/gear/3081323/p1_u432buxcu_so.jpg . If they look like the one in this picture, they are from the early 70's era. But I could be wrong. Hope that helps.
