A few things, again from my Dad, that I've kept. Top left is a small brass box with no markings but well made, below that is a scissors sharpener with the brand name of Kenberry scissors sharpener. In the middle is an old Mexican silver rial and pounded into a concho, found by my Father, and next to that on the right is a small advertising knife, brought to mind by those posted by AR8Jason, with Bell Coaches on it.
And on the bottom is an oldish letter opener, a souvenir I believe, that seem to be hand painted and hand carved.
I love the small things in life -- love the Indian head opener.
Yes, very nice - do you think it's a letter opener or a 'bone' folder - for putting a crease in heavy paper?
Thanks everyone for the loves.
The 'Indian' item may well be a bone or fid. I don't really know. I had seen one other, years ago, I can't remember where, and I thought it was said to be a letter opener. Sometimes memories are fleeting things and that's why we need Collectors Weekly.
