Love these! Those plates are all hand done? Am I right in that?

i HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED THE WATCH FOR AN ELDERLY FRIEND OF MINE(SINCE HE DOESN'T DO EBAY).HE IS 84 YEARS OLD . HIS DAD HAD THIS SAME WATCH WHEN HE WAS A BOY(MY FRIEND),BUT HE WANTS TO FIND A CASE FOR IT,AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO LOOK OR WHAT TO LOOK FOR. ANY ASSISTANCE FOR THIS WOULD BE GREATLY WELCOMED. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT HE WANTS (SENTIMENTAL REASONS).PLEASE RESPOND . RICK
Hi Rick,
The case for a Dudley watch is shaped like a Keystone and covered in leather. I have had 1 in my lifetime and they are impossible to find today. I have heard that the can sell for $750-$1000 depending on condition.
Good luck, I hope you can find one,
Jim
What is the word i need to use when searching for this, is the case called a keystone ? who makes it?
the watch he has is serial #ed 4850 which makes it a series 3 .
The condition of your watch is fantastic! Probably one of the best survived example! Thanks for sharing!
sweet...............
