I have this very interesting hand beaded leather disc with an Native American Indian style glass bead design of a turquoise colored pot with a white design on the front, a necklace draped over it and a yellow peace pipe, all on a black glass bead background with an opaque glass beaded trim. It appears to be mounted on a round flexible (leather) disc with a Japanese floral fabric backing it. It measures about 8 1/2" diameter.
I am guessing this was probably made in Japan in the 1950s for the American consumer. I am not sure what it is or what it would be used for. Anyone that might have some information as to age, what it is, maker and value would be greatly appreciated. Or at least a hand pointing me in the right direction in which to search. I will be happy to send close-up photos if anyone thinks that will help.
