Another $1 item from the same sale as the Blenko bookends. I was just about to leave the sale when I happen to see this slightly sitting out from under a table. I immediately grabbed it.

I am drooling over this sale! Next time give me a call so I can come with you! : )

LOL- thanks AmberRose- I was the first one there- it started at 6 am, but I've done sales like that many times- not as much as I used to though. I have to tread yard sale, estate, and thrift store hunts alone, so having you along would have been great:). Can you believe that the lady said I can come back this Friday, and she will sell me more things because she hadn't gone through the attic yet?! If you would have seen how much she had at the sale, you would have thought she had already gone through two or three already (attics that is). I can't wait:).

lol- Thanks Bellin- I just hope she remembers me. If not, then hey, then I just gotta keep it moving.

Again...soooooooo jealous! Even if she doesn't let you in, give us an update please. I too travel the thrift alone so it would be fun to have a pal around. Of course we would have to arm wrestle for the good stuff!

Amber- do you know about a site called estatesales.net? It's a pretty good site that gives listings along with pics of estate sales across the country. I don't think it covers every state yet, but I know for sure it covers Chicago. I have checked out the estate sales for Chicago and drool and daydream about taking a trip there just to yard sale and do estate sales. Check out the site and let me know what you think and this might turn out to be a great resource for you to hit up more estate sales.

Oh I so know this site. I hit estate sales if I am in the area and have time. Often people are there hours before opening and prices can be crazy. Once in a great while well worth it. Often something I would pay a couple of bucks for are ten times that. I love looking at the pictures and often plot. I then get there and it is all gone, or very expensive. Thank you, I wish it were as great as in your part of the world...I am sure if I could I would hit more. You are wonderful and I really enjoy your postings. Looking forward to many more.
