Gold Bull/Cow with Red, White, & Blue Enamel bow tie~A.B PARIS

I've had this for a while and I love it! Accidently threw it in the waste basket while I was cooking,( I'd been admiring it on the counter as I chopped vegetables:).
It's about 1 inch long, a happy face with an enameled bow tie.
Marked ' A.B PARIS ' on the back.
Quite heavy for it's size, I think it may be gold but it's not been tested. Hopefully the meaning of the mark on the back will be clear to someone.
and what occasion do you suppose it was made for?
