Little Green Tube Radio, pre-1953

This delightful little number has been a source of frustration for me because I have not yet been able to identify it. There are NO markings, decals, badges, or identifying marks on it of any kind. There are no Civil Defense tuning symbols on the tuning dial so it was not produced between 1953 to 1963, and it's a tube radio so I'm supposing that it was not made AFTER 1963 because then it would likely have been transistorized. All the tubes inside say "Sparton" but that does not necessarity mean that it's a Sparton Radio because who's to say if those tubes are original to the radio or not. None of my reference links or books show this unit at all, Sparton or otherwise. I would appreciate if anyone can shed any light on this one for me. It's a cool little piece, and it plays perfectly. Everybody loves it, "orphan" or not! LOL
