This leaf was bought at what at the time was the best vintage glass shop in Rome and the seller, a lovely lady, couldn't tell what it could be. The subject reminds of the leafs made by Tyra Lundgren for Venini but hers were soft edged and we think this isn't one of those.
It is an amazing glass piece, so delicate, and one just loves to look at the effects of the laticcino work in it.
Does anyone know something about this?
Beautiful!....:-)
A really beautiful dish; perhaps the laticcino canes will give it away ... so feathery! Does it have feet, resting points or a ground base?
Thanks vet and inky!
It has a ground base. The truth is it cannot be simplier!
This is really beautiful..wow
Stunning Austro! It looks as if it could just float away on a breeze.
Thanks collectort, eye4beauty and Amber!
I wouldn't trust this floating... unless you want to hear glass crashing on the floor! :)
It usually lays on a black surface and the effect is superb! but yes, red makes it pretty impressive I have to admit ;) By the way, it's about 23 cm long.
Fantastic, seriously awesome.
Beautifully photographed!
