Magnor glassverk has roots right back to the end of the 1896, and even further back over the swedish border with Eda glassbruk in 1833.
Thes two pieces are modern pieces from designer Stein Nilsen, born 1934 who started working at Magnor in 1972. the name of this series is Geilo ( a village in Norway ) There are many different pieces in this series. Beautiful with air bubbles and iron filings.

The second piece is to large and thick to drink from. So I have used it for sweets, and sometime flowers.
