I picked this beautiful watch up today and really don't know anything about it except that it is a ladies pocket watch that is 14k. It is different from the ones I usually see. There is a name inscribed when the back is opened up " Katie Cain ". If any pocket watch guys out there can help me date this piece and maybe give more info on it, quality and such, that would be much appreciated. Thank you
1888 is the year, 14k solid case , but can tell you anymore right now, have my Elgin book loaned out, VERY NICE
It is a size 6s. with a very unusual dial. Very nice.

Oh, and a very nice multi-color case.
Katie Cain was one of my ancestors, thus, this lovely watch rightfully belongs to ME.
Hand it over and no one gets hurt. ;-}
Thanks for the information AR8Jason, I need to find a person named Katie Cain and sell her this beautiful watch. Lol

Mama wama ma, I'm not sure how to sound out your name, must be a southern thing, anyway you have to fight your cousin for the watch.

Good evening.. I'm Kitty Carlisle and I'm here to ask the question:
