Hi. I received this really beautiful piece recently and was wondering if anyone could help me identify it. There are no chips and the base may have been painted at one tie, but there are no paint chips, ect. Origin, history and value would be great!

      How about any makers marks?

I checked all over. I even took the glass off the stand....nada.

Wonderful piece.. hand made. Wouldn't have a clue where to start without some writing on it. Your best bet is to keep posting it around and hope someone recognizes the maker..
      Congrats ~

      Here via Mikies listings ...
The glass is a Kralik / Loetz decor called "pampas" or a variant on it ... hard to tell if the base is original from the pics ... but certainly is Art nouveau in era ...
Bohemian Glass and Loetz both have a listing under Art Glass and pottery on this site ...
      Cheers

Thanks steves. I have looked around and I agree that this looks like loetz. I appreciate your help. To me the base looks original...the holephone and glass grinding look professional

It looks like a Loetz or Kralik Pampas decor vase married to a lamp or epergne base. The flat bottom of the glass portion suggests this type of marriage, as an epergne most often would have a more rounded bottom to the bowl portion. Very pretty piece.
