The first three images are from a brochure depicting the 1952 or 1953 model 12 passenger Snowmobile, the fourth is from a maintenance manual & spare part catalogue.

"Joseph-Armand Bombardier was a mechanic who dreamed of building a vehicle that could "float on snow". In 1937 he designed and produced his first snowmobile in his small repair shop in Valcourt, Quebec.
Bombardier's technological breakthrough in the design of bush vehicles came in the mid-1930s when he developed a drive system that revolutionized travel in snow and swampy conditions. In 1937 Bombardier sold 12 snowmobiles—named the B7 and, in 1942, created l'Auto-Neige Bombardier Limitée company."

In addition to personal snowmobiles, the Company is involved in Aerospace / Defence, & Railways with 66,000 employees worldwide.

I'm not sure why you think of James Bond when you see this, I can't remember all the plots & chase scenes in all those movies, I do remember a jet pack though. lol

Thanks Walks, My bucket list is quite long but I saved the photos.
I would love to do in brass but styrene would be much quicker.
Would that have been a flathead 6 cyl engine?
    24. walksoftly walksoftly, 10 years ago
Yes that was the flat head 6.
