    This was my grandmother (father's mother's) Tiffany lamp. How does one identify this exactly (year, etc.) I've looked and can't find a mark.

      Your lamp is from the Art Nouveau period, around 1920's give or take a few years. The base was made by Moran and Hastings of Chicago, listed as just a "Brush Brass" base. The shade could have come from the same factory or produced by someone like Miller lamp co. for M&H.

      Wow! That was quick. I could ask how you know these facts, but obviously you have visual experience in things like this, and so I'll withdraw my stupid questioning. About how much is it worth?

      On a good night at auction, they will bring between $250 to $400.
